Mihaela Mesarić (1982.) zvanje profesorice geologije i geografije (2005.) te doktorat iz primijenjene geografije (2015.) stekla je na Prirodoslovno-matematičkom fakultetu Sveučilišta u Zagrebu.

Posebni interes ima prema neživom aspektu prirode, promatranju ptica te interpretaciji baštine kojom se bavi od studentskih dana. Od 2011. godine sudjeluje u edukaciji novih generacija turističkih vodiča za Međimursku županiju te predaje turističku geografiju studentima menadžmenta turizma. Tijekom 2022. godine završila je Bird ID trening prepoznavanja ptica, a u proteklih 10 godina posjetilja je 25 američkih nacionalnih parkova. Aktivni je član europske udruge za interpretaciju baštine Interpret Europe te je njihov certificirani vodič – interpretator (CIG) te planer interpretacije (CIP). Kreirala je tri interpretacijska centra te više poučnih staza u prirodi. U slobodno vrijeme planinari i putuje s prijateljima i obitelji.

Mihaela Mesarić (1982) acquired the title of geology and geography teacher (2005) and a doctorate in applied geography (2015) at the Faculty of Science of the University of Zagreb.

She has a special interest in geodiversity, birding, and the interpretation of heritage, which she has been engaged in since her student days. Since 2011, she has been participating in the education of new generations of tourist guides for Međimurje County and teaches Tourism Geography to tourism management students. In 2022, she completed the Bird ID training, and in the past 10 years visited 25 USA national parks. She is an active member of the Interpret Europe – European Association for Heritage Interpretation and their Certified Interpretive Guide (CIG) and Certified Interpretive Planner (CIP). She created three interpretation centers and several educational trails in nature. In her free time, she hikes and travels with friends and family.
